Photo Questions
 How many photos can I use?
You can use any amount of photos that you would like. We offer different packages that consist of different amounts of photos. If you do not have enough photos to reach a certain package then you will use the next lowest package and pay $.50 extra per photo for every photo over the package amount. The packages are created to save you money so the closer you can get to one of the packages, the more you will get for your money.
What formats of pictures can you include?
There are many different formats we can use to include your photos in your slideshow. You can ship your photos to use and we can scan and re-touch them before adding them to your slideshow. If you choose to do this we will include a free cd of your scanned, re-touched photos so you can keep them digitally safe. You can also send us your photos on a flash drive, cd or dvd. Music Questions
How many songs should I include?
The amount of songs you need is based on the amount of pictures you will be using. We have a basic rule of thumb that we use for each of our packages. Click here to view the packages and the number of songs needed for each.
What songs would be good for my slideshow?
We have compiled a list over time of some of the best songs to use for your slideshow. We have separated the songs into different categories that fit the different occasions your slideshow could be for. Click here to view our song suggestions.
What if I don't own a copy of the song I want to use?
That's no problem. We can get a copy of the song you want for you for $1 and we'll include the original downloaded copy of the song on a CD when we ship your DVD. When you place your order just note that you would like us to download a copy of the song for you.
Shipping Questions
What's the best way to ship my photos, music, etc.?
We feel the best way to ship your photos is to put the them in a ziploc bag and ship them in a thin box or cardboard protected envelope. This will ensure that your photos do not get bent during shipment.
Can I pay for rush shipping?
Yes. Upon completion of your DVD (generally 3-4 days after receiving your photos and payment in full) we offer two different forms of rush delivery. We can ship your finished DVD using 2-day delivery for a $10 fee or overnight delivery for a $25 fee. Our normal delivery time is 4-5 business days.
What parcel service do you use?
We normally use FedEx when shipping your completed DVD slideshow. If you prefer that we use a different parcel service, let us know when placing your order and we will be happy to ship your DVD slideshow using your preferred parcel service.
Payment Questions
How do I pay for my slideshow?
We accept check or credit cards. All checks should be made to Lorelei's Creative Side. When we receive your photos and have no further questions we will email an invoice to you. You can then pay by credit card online using our invoice. We will not start your DVD slideshow until we have received your payment in full.
What credit cards do you accept?
We can accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Slideshow Questions
Can I add text to my slideshow?
Yes. You can add text to any slide at no additional cost! Most slideshows will have a title slide and a closing slide that will include text and you can also add text to different photos throughout the slideshow. Our online order form will simplify this process for you. Click here to place your order now!
Can I add video to my slideshow?
Yes. We can accept the following video formats: AVI, DV, SWF and MPEG 1 and 2. We can also edit these videos in any way, shape or form just let us know what part of the video you would like on your slideshow.
Can I order extra copies of my slideshow?
Yes. You can order additional copies of your DVD slideshow for $9.97 each. Ask about our bulk pricing for large numbers of duplicate copies.
Can I request certain pictures for the cover of my slideshow?
Absolutely. When you complete the online order form, you will be asked which pictures to use for the DVD slideshow cover and label. Click here to place your order now!
